Privacy Policy
Last updated: this page reflects the platform as currently built and deployed.
This policy covers Orenyx Influencer Connect, the platform matching local businesses with local influencers. It describes what information the platform collects from a Business or Influencer account, how that information is used, who it is ever shared with, and how an account and everything tied to it can be permanently deleted.
What we collect
From every account, at signup: an email address, a password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in plain text), a city, and a country.
From a Business account, additionally: the business name, an optional industry category, an optional website address, and payment details, which are held entirely by our payment processor. The platform itself never stores a card number, only a reference to it.
From an Influencer account, additionally: a display name, one or more content niches, a public Instagram profile link, and, only if you choose to connect it, an authorized connection to your Instagram account, used to read your follower count and engagement figures directly rather than estimating them. Connecting is optional and can be disconnected at any time; the access token for a connected account is encrypted at rest.
Once a deal between a business and an influencer is unlocked (Section "How matching and deal unlocks work" below), the platform additionally holds whatever contact details and messages the two parties exchange for that specific deal.
How matching and deal unlocks work
The platform automatically matches Business and Influencer accounts by shared city and relevant content niche. An influencer's name, social links, follower count, engagement rate, and direct contact details are never visible to a business until that business pays the collaboration fee for a specific deal with that influencer. This is enforced by the platform's server and database, not merely hidden by the interface. The platform separately operates automated discovery of public business and creator profiles to seed its matching pool; discovery reads only information a profile has made public, collects no contact details, and never creates an account or messages a discovered profile on your behalf.
Who we share it with
Payment details are shared only with our payment processor (Stripe), which is who actually holds and processes them. If an influencer chooses to connect their Instagram account, the connection is made directly with Meta's Instagram platform under Meta's own terms. Your data is never sold, and is never shared with another business or influencer beyond what a paid deal unlock or a public discovery listing already exposes, as described above.
How long we keep it
Your account's data is kept for as long as the account exists, so that matching, deal history, and payment records continue to work correctly. It is removed entirely once you delete your account, with one narrow exception described next.
Deleting your data
A signed-in Business or Influencer can permanently delete their own account at any time from their dashboard, under Account → Delete my account. Doing so immediately and permanently removes the account itself and every deal, message, payment record, advertising placement, and uploaded verification document tied to it, along with any connected Instagram authorization. This cannot be undone and does not require contacting support.
The one exception: if a Business account ever redeemed the free Premium trial, we keep a record of the email address it signed up with, on its own, separate from every other piece of account data. This exists solely to stop the same email from being used to claim a second free trial after the account is deleted and a new one is created. It carries no other information about the deleted account — no deal history, no messages, no payment records, none of it — and it is never used for anything besides that one check.
If you are unable to sign in to your account, or need help with a deletion request another way, contact support@motuslabs.com.
