Accounts & Signup
There are exactly three account types on the platform, and each one collects only what the matching engine actually needs to work correctly from day one.
The three account types
- Influencer
- A creator or content producer. Builds a profile, receives and accepts deal matches, and messages a business once a deal unlocks contact information.
- Business
- A local small business. Builds a profile, receives influencer matches, posts deals, and can purchase an ad box placement.
- Admin
- The Orenyx team. Full platform oversight: account moderation, deal monitoring, and city activation. Not a self-service account type; see the Admin Panel guide.
Signing up as an influencer
An influencer signup collects:
- An email address, verified with a one time six digit code before the account becomes active.
- A city and country. Matching is location based, so this has to be accurate.
- One to five content niches, chosen from a fixed list. This is what businesses are matched against.
- An Instagram profile link, scanned to estimate follower count until the account is connected for verified figures.
Signing up as a business
A business signup collects a city, country, and industry category, plus one optional shortcut:
- A business that only has a website address can skip picking a category. The platform reads the site and detects the industry automatically.
- If detection does not find a confident match, category is left unset and can be added later from the dashboard.
Why city and niche or category are required
A business in a different city, or an influencer with no overlapping niche, is never matched to you. These two fields are the entire basis for matching, so getting them right at signup matters more than anything else on the form.
After signup
Both account types land on a dashboard immediately after email verification. Matches begin appearing as soon as there is another account, or a discovered lead, that fits on the other side.
